I've been making this sig for some time.
Any good ideas on this sig?

thats a pretty dam good sig!

the only advice i can give you would be to add more in the background, coming from behind the character.
like where the yellow 'lightning' style zap's are coming out from behind, stick maybe an orange coloured larger version of it, stretching across the background behind the yellow.

it would give it a little more depth, and fill up some of the space.

other than that, i think its really good. kudos!

- First Impression -
A little bit plain on the background, no light sources, the render didn't blend well with the background. Good try tho
- Color -
you have used a limited of colors on this signature, and the color you choose didn't suit the signature well. Hmm i know why you have choose that color tho, cause the anime is about him flying and the title is "Sky High". But you need to think this way when you choose the colors. *First what are the main colors on the signature?
*wat color will blend well with the render?
*wat color can be attractive with the render?
Ask yourself question like that will help you choose the correct colors for you signature.

let me give you a example wat color i would choose if i do tat render, i will use red/orange/some blue
use a gradient from orange to dark blue for the background then use a red photo filter as a finish. =]
-lighting-
oh well looks like you dont know anything about lighting effects, this is used to focus your render and also can be used to add depth to your signature if you need more info about this read my ".:Signature Making Tutorial:." click this name under my signature to see it =]
- c4d/pen tool/effects -
Here you haven't add much effect on your signature, you don't have to add many effect in it, but at lease add some so that the signature wont be so empty or plain =] you can either use c4d, pen tool or any other brushes you have =]
- Depth -
This is the very last thing to learn after you can control your management of colors, effect and light source so read about it in my guide =]

A good try on the sig, work and learn more about how to make light source, manage colors, and adding effects =]

wow, much much better.
i still feel its lacking something on the left, and the duplicate shadow of the character kinda weirds me out. but its much better than the first.
