Ok, heres the all important info on installing brushes into Photoshop/Illustrator...
1. Download the appropriate brush(es) you want.
2. Make sure they are in the .abr file format.
3. Open 'My Computer' and go to your C: drive.
4. Then follow this... PROGRAM FILES > ADOBE > PHOTOSHOP CS2 > PRESETS > BRUSHES
5. Once you are in the 'brushes' folder, drop your .abr files in.
6. Then go back into Photoshop.
7. Choose the paintbrush tool. Then go to the paintbrush size options at the top toolbar.
8. There is a small arrow button pointing to the right like this >. Click on it.
9. Then select the brushes you have just installed from the list.
10. Voila! A fresh new set of brushes to play with!
The way you do it with Mac are pretty much the same, but just replace 'My Computer' with your Mac drive, and instead of going to PROGRAM FILES, you just click on 'Applications' and find Photoshop CS2 within that folder.
Also these rules all apply to Illustrator CS2 aswell.
As always, hope this helps!
